ROOD by rENs

ROOD by rENs is a collection of discarded clothes, that are brought back to life by dyeing it in all thinkable nuances of the color red, thereby making every piece of clothes unique. The exhibition becomes a poetic and extremely relevant attempt to bring focus to excessive consumerism, and tries to reduce it by the simple exercise of dying clothes to draw attention to the unique stories that exists in even the most common objects surrounding us.

The Dutch design duo rENs consists of Renee Mennen & Stefanie van Keijsteren, who have worked together since 2008. The backbone of their collaboration is a friendship in which their pertness, impulsiveness, and passion come together.
