What we collect and why
When you use a form on this site (meeting room enquiry, podcast studio, workspace tour or contact), we receive the information you enter yourself: name, company, email, phone, requested date, time, duration, number of people, room, catering, extras and your message. We also record which page the form was sent from and whether that page was in Danish or English.
We use this information to reply to you, send a quote and handle your booking.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (steps taken at your request before entering into, or to perform, a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
How your enquiry is sent
Forms are sent as email through our email provider Resend (Resend, Inc.). You receive a confirmation by email, and we receive your enquiry in our inbox. The Resend account uses the EU region (eu-west-1, Ireland); otherwise data is transferred to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework/standard contractual clauses. Our mailboxes are hosted by Microsoft 365.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Cloudflare processes technically necessary data, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We do not store form data in a database on the site. It exists only as email.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact. Booking and invoice records are kept for 5 years after the end of the financial year, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
Cookies and similar technologies
Analytics cookies from Google Analytics are set only if you give your consent (see below). This site sets no marketing cookies.
Your browser stores a few things locally on your own device. They are never sent to us:
- sessionStorage: a summary of your form so the thank-you page can show it. It is deleted when you close the tab.
- localStorage: the positions of windows you have moved around on the page.
- localStorage (lyn_consent): your choice in the cookie banner. It is kept for 12 months.
Statistics (Google Analytics) and cookies
If you say yes in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 for statistics on how the site is used, so we can make it better. If you say no, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and none of these cookies are set.
Legal basis: your consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a).
Google Ireland Limited is our data processor. Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted. If data is transferred to the US, this is done under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework/standard contractual clauses. Google signals and data sharing with Google are turned off.
Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_D6BFDZ5D5V, which are used to tell visitors apart and keep track of a visit. The cookies expire after 13 months.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page. We then delete the Google Analytics cookies.
Content from other services
- Vimeo: The video on the home page is loaded from Vimeo with "do not track" (dnt=1). It is not loaded if your browser asks for reduced motion or reduced data use. When it loads, Vimeo receives your IP address.
- Spotify: Our playlist on the home page and the coffee bar page loads from Spotify when you scroll to it. Spotify receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
- YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com), Vimeo videos, the Matterport 3D tour and Acuity booking load only when you click them. After that, the service's own privacy policy applies.
- Google Maps and Instagram are plain links. Nothing is loaded from them until you click.
- Fonts are served from our own server. Nothing is loaded from Google Fonts.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you. You can also have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, and receive your data in a portable format (data portability). Write to jeppe@lynfabrikken.dk.
You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, www.datatilsynet.dk.
Changes
We update this policy when we change how we process data. Last updated: 1 November 2026.
